The Big Test

My Commercial 1 stage check is this Wednesday at 8:15am (11:15 Michigan time). It will involve successfully performing some fairly difficult maneuvers, but passing it means I can focus almost exclusively on my Instrument Rating, which I MUST finish before the end of this semester. Please, please pray for me, that I would be able to satisfactorily answer the questions and perform the maneuvers asked of me.

Yes, we will be praying about that! Does the instructor sit silently in the plane as you do the maneuvers, or how does that work?

The examiner will tell me what she wants me to do, like, "Show me a chandelle." Then she'll sit and silently take notes as I do what she wants. She won't tell me how I did on anything, until we're back on the ground at the school and the plane is shut down. She can also end the stage check at any time, if I'm unable to do something up to standards, without telling me I've failed. She'll just say, "Okay, take us back to the college." However, that's also what she'll say when I'm doing well and she's just ready to see my landings. So it's very nerve-wracking, as there's no way to know if I'm doing great or making a fool of myself, until the damage has been done.
